Founded in 15-01-2023, Roti Bank Bagaha Trust was born out of a simple observation: while many in our community struggle to find their next meal, perfectly good food goes to waste every day. We bridge this gap by collecting excess food from households, restaurants, and events, and distributing it to those in need.
What started as a small initiative by a group of friends has now grown into a well-organized movement with over 200 volunteers serving thousands of meals every month across Bagaha and surrounding areas.
To eliminate hunger in our community while reducing food waste through a sustainable, community-driven model.
We collect excess food from homes, restaurants, weddings, and other events through our network of volunteers and collection points.
Collected food is safely transported and distributed to underprivileged communities, orphanages, and homeless shelters.
We conduct awareness programs in schools and communities about food waste reduction and nutrition.
We operate community kitchens that prepare hot meals for those in need using donated ingredients.
We organize special food distribution events during festivals and natural disasters.
We promote sustainable food practices including composting and urban farming initiatives.
